Metrovacesa invests 13.3 million euros in a new 48-home development in La Cala de Mijas

The new Calma Mijas development is a new Metrovacesa development consisting of 48 multi-family homes with 2 and 3 bedrooms with swimming pool and community gym. The developer has inaugurated this development in Cala de Mijas, located on a hill with access to the beach.

Metrovacesa has begun marketing these homes. The design of the units was entrusted by the developer to MAD Arquitectura, a Malaga-based studio with more than twenty years of experience carrying out new construction projects. The architectural firm received in 2018 the Architecture Award for the best work carried out in Malaga in the last decade.

Some of the features that Calma Mijas will have are its communal swimming pool and gym, landscaped areas throughout the residential complex, two and three bedroom homes with spacious terraces, air conditioning and basement for the garage.

When designing the homes they made sure to stand out by using the highest quality building materials. The development became a place full of opportunities to enjoy the best amenities in a high quality efficient and sustainable housing.

With this development Metrovacesa has 22 active developments along the Costa del Sol, totaling more than a thousand new homes. Some of the projects in the Andalusian province include Blue Marine, Tiara and Medblue II (which has just obtained the license to start construction). These developments are mainly aimed at international clients in search of a second home or investment to rent and take advantage of its various tourist highlights.

Calma Mijas also has the highest energy certifications: energy certification B, emissions certification (CO2) B, as well as the Green Seal of Sustainable Building and the distinguished DOMUN seal (the developer's own brand of sustainability).
